Mike grew up in a family of masons. His earliest memories include the smell of sawdust and helping his father and grandfather build stone fireplaces and homes. Mike graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2007 with a Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering and in 2008 with a Masters degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Construction Management. He has always had a passion for building things large and small. 

 

Before moving back to Nashville in 2018, he worked for Chevron Corp. for ten years in various engineering and project management roles leading projects ranging in value from $100K to $100M.

 

He enjoys spending his free time with his new baby and his beautiful wife, Stephanie.
